We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper/ Virtual Assistant to support the administration of a commercial properties / Tenant. This role combines tenant administration, bookkeeping, and financial tracking. You will handle invoicing, rent collection, bank reconciliation, and maintain records of tenant insurance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain tenant records and insurance details.
- Chase overdue rent and issue invoices.
- Reconcile property bank accounts.
- Record and track expenses and income.
- Prepare financial summaries and reports.
- Assist with ad hoc property admin tasks.
- Good written communication skills for tenant correspondence
- Comfortable working remotely and managing tasks independently
- Update spreadsheets / databases for leases, payments and communications
- Liaise with you for urgent matters or approvals.
- Track payments to service providers and vendors
- Assist with administrative tasks to ensure smooth property operations
Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years Australian bookkeeping experience, preferably in property management.
- Strong Excel and accounting software skills (Xero).
- Excellent communication skills via email/chat.
- Highly organised, proactive, and able to work remotely.
- Experience with rent collection and reconcile multiple entities
- Attention of detail critical for leases, insurance and financials.
