Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Divisional Head/Coordinator and is based in Vadodara, Gujarat. The Divisional Head will be responsible for overseeing program implementation and operational strategies, managing teams and resource allocation, and ensuring alignment with the organization's mission. Tasks include designing and evaluating community outreach initiatives, liaising with stakeholders such as government bodies, schools, and healthcare organizations, and driving advocacy and awareness campaigns. Providing leadership, monitoring project progress, and compiling reports will also be key aspects of the role.

Qualifications

  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to oversee projects and manage teams effectively.
  • Proficiency in program development, operational planning, and evaluation of community outreach initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with stakeholders and presenting strategies.
  • Understanding of public health, social work, or rehabilitation-related topics with experience in advocacy or nonprofit organizations.
  • Proven ability in budget management, resource allocation, and coordination at the organizational level.
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Public Health, Management, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Familiarity with regional and national health policies, especially in substance abuse prevention and recovery, is an asset.
  • Fluency in English and Gujarati is preferred to effectively communicate with diverse communities and stakeholders.
