I. JOB DETAILS

Job Title

Medical Transcriptionist - Medical Services

Reporting Supervisor

Head of Department- Medical Services

II. JOB PURPOSE

To assist with timely and accurate preparation of discharge summary.

III. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Core Responsibilities

  • To type accurate discharge summary of IPD patients of floors.
  • To type accurate and timely investigation reports & feeding of investigation in HIS.
  • To effectively coordinate for timely completion of all discharge summary of IPD patients.
  • To comply with the service quality process, environmental & occupational issues & policies of the respective area.
  • To comply with patient safety policy.
  • To ensure safe utilization of equipment and proper waste disposal system.

IV. KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

Measurable Deliverables

  • Accuracy and Timeliness.
  • Reasonable high level of comfort among concerned physicians.
  • Independently handling large volume of work in bigger facility.
  • Demonstrated ability to assure higher responsibility.

V. JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Qualifications

Grade 12th Pass (With or without Diploma in Medical Transcription)

Experience

2 to 7 years of experience.

Behavioural Skills

  • Interpersonal Skills.
  • Resourcefulness.

Language Skills

English & Hindi
