  • Design of product solid models, assembly and detailing of product CAD tools like Solidworks and Siemens NX
  • Work closely with Industrial Design & Product teams to develop concepts and carry the development through to manufacturing and ensure that design specifications are implemented.
  • Develop rapid prototypes and be comfortable in the machine shop.
  • Effectively communicate your design in CAD & in front of cross functional team members.
  • Work with various engineering and customer functions in developing solid models, assembly and detailing of product subsystems, components, and interface structures etc using CAD tools like Solidworks and Siemens NX
  • Create BOM, draft 2D drawings, cut section and conduct part inspection
    • Participate in NPD process from concept to part realization.
  • Maintain documents control and design change management.
  • Ability to walk through the design process, drive decisions, track issues.

Competencies/skills Key Skills

  • Have proven ability to make 3D models using Siemens NX
  • Excellent skills in plastic part design, Steel products (Household Items).
  • Problem solving, negotiations and networking skills.
  • Good Experience in injection & blow moulding, sheet metal and rubber parts.
  • Quick thinker, problem solvers and good communicator.
    • Have good knowledge of production and manufacturing process

Qualification & Experience

  • Should have 3+ years of experience
  • Qualification: Diploma, B.E./ B. Tech Any Engineering
    • Software Exp: Siemens NX, SolidWorks, MS Office, GD&T.
