Role Overview

We are seeking an AI/ML Intern to join our research and product development team. You will work on real-world machine learning projects that power the intelligence behind NirveonX — from healthcare predictions to conversational AI and personalization systems. This internship offers hands-on experience in building, training, and deploying models that directly impact user experiences and health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Model Development & Research

  • Develop and fine-tune machine learning models for healthcare, recommendation, and classification tasks
  • Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, and exploratory data analysis
  • Implement deep learning models for image, text, or multimodal data using TensorFlow or PyTorch

Data & Evaluation

  • Collect, clean, and manage structured and unstructured datasets
  • Evaluate model accuracy, precision, recall, and other performance metrics
  • Optimize models for scalability, latency, and real-world deployment

Collaboration & Integration

  • Work closely with backend and app development teams to integrate AI modules into production systems
  • Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers on model APIs and inference pipelines
  • Contribute to documentation, reports, and internal AI knowledge sharing

Requirements

  • Strong foundation in Python, NumPy, Pandas, and Scikit-learn
  • Understanding of machine learning algorithms such as regression, clustering, and decision trees
  • Familiarity with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch
  • Knowledge of data preprocessing, visualization, and model evaluation techniques
  • Problem-solving mindset with strong analytical and mathematical skills

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with NLP, Computer Vision, or Recommender Systems
  • Familiarity with LLMs, transformers, or fine-tuning open-source models
  • Knowledge of Flask or FastAPI for model deployment
  • Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • Academic or personal projects demonstrating AI/ML applications
