We are hiring a Video editor cum graphic designer candidate whose responsibilities are as follows:

Key responsibilities

  • Graphic design: Create static visual assets, including social media graphics, website banners, digital ads, infographics, and layouts, for both digital and print media.
  • Video editing: Edit raw footage into finished videos, including promotional content, YouTube videos, and social media clips, by adding music, sound effects, and graphics.
  • Motion graphics and animation: Develop and incorporate motion graphics, animations, and visual effects to enhance videos and storytelling.
  • Content conceptualization: Collaborate with content and marketing teams to brainstorm and develop creative concepts for both video and graphic projects.
  • Brand consistency: Ensure all visual outputs, both video and graphic, adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent aesthetic.
  • Technical tasks: Perform color grading, audio mixing, and optimize content for different platforms, such as social media, websites
  • Asset management: Organize and manage video and graphic assets efficiently.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Software proficiency: A Strong command of industry-standard software like Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and After Effects is crucial.
  • Design principles: A solid understanding of design principles, visual composition, typography, and color theory is essential.
  • Video editing expertise: Experience in editing, including assembling footage, color grading, and audio mixing.
  • Motion graphics experience: Knowledge of motion graphics, animation, and visual effects is often required.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with other team members, such as marketers, content creators, and videographers.
  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing both graphic design and video editing work.
  • Education: A degree or diploma in graphic design, multimedia arts, visual communication, or a related field is often preferred.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a similar role is typically required.
