Job Description: Ayurveda Therapist – Postnatal Care

Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled and empathetic Ayurveda Therapist to provide specialized postnatal care for new mothers. The role focuses on delivering traditional Ayurvedic therapies, massages, and holistic wellness practices that support recovery, enhance lactation, and promote overall maternal health.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Ayurvedic postnatal therapies such as Abhyanga (oil massage), steam treatments, and herbal applications.
• Support mothers in regaining strength, improving circulation, and reducing postpartum discomfort.
• Prepare and administer Ayurvedic oils, herbal remedies, and natural therapies as prescribed by Ayurvedic doctors.
• Guide mothers on lifestyle practices, diet, and relaxation techniques aligned with Ayurvedic principles.
• Ensure a safe, hygienic, and comforting environment during therapy sessions.
• Maintain therapy records and report progress to supervising Ayurvedic doctors or medical officers.
• Educate families on Ayurvedic practices for maternal and newborn care.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Certification in Ayurvedic Therapy or Panchakarma from a recognized institute.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in women's health or postnatal therapy preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Ayurvedic massage techniques and herbal formulations.
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach with excellent communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹8, ₹42,018.93 per month
