Role and Responsibilities:
The Collibra Expert will be responsible for:
  • Serving as a Subject Matter Expert on the implementation and maintenance of Collibra Data Governance.
  • Designing, developing, and testing Collibra integrations and workflows using Collibra Connect and Workflow Developer toolset.
  • Developing Collibra integration solutions and integrating Collibra with other enterprise tools such as Data Quality Tool, Data Catalog Tool, and Master Data Management Solutions.
  • Loading and configuring all Collibra customized workflows.
  • Creating Communities, sub-Communities, and other Collibra Domains.
  • Creating various Asset types including Business Assets, Technology Assets, Data Assets, and Governance Assets.
  • Creating Relationships within datasets, between data sets, applications, systems, and processes.
  • Creating facilities for managing reference data.
  • Developing API (REST) to expose metadata functionalities to end-users.
Required Skills:
The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following skills:
  • Certified Collibra Ranger profile is a must.
  • Working experience in data governance, metadata management, and data catalog solutions, specifically on Collibra tools.
  • Experience in Data Governance of a wide variety of data types (structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data) and data sources (HDFS, S3, Kafka, Cassandra, Hive, HBase, Elastic Search).
  • Experience designing Collibra as a data governance platform to comply with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and CCPA (California Consumer Privacy Act) regulations.
  • Knowledge of Collibra operating model, workflow BPMN development, and integrating various applications or systems with Collibra.
  • Experience in setting up people's roles, responsibilities, and controls, data ownership, workflows, and common processes.
  • Experience working with unstructured machine logs.
  • Experience in handling CSV, JSON, XML, and log files.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
