Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and design end-to-end Teamcenter PLM architecture aligned with business and IT strategies.
  • Lead the implementation and customization of Teamcenter modules such as BMIDE, Workflow Designer, Active Workspace, Change Management, and Structure Manager.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable PLM solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams during solution implementation.
  • Develop and maintain integration strategies with ERP, CAD, MES, and other enterprise systems.
  • Ensure system performance, scalability, and security through best practices in architecture and deployment.
  • Conduct solution reviews, gap analysis, and propose enhancements to improve system efficiency.
  • Support data migration, system upgrades, and environment management.
  • Create and maintain architectural documentation, solution blueprints, and technical specifications.
  • Stay updated with the latest Teamcenter releases, features, and industry trends.

Preferred candidate profile

  • 5+ years of experience in Teamcenter PLM, with at least 3+ years in an architect or lead role.

  • Strong expertise in:

  • Teamcenter Unified Architecture

  • BMIDE configuration and customization
  • Active Workspace (AWC) customization
  • Workflow and Change Management
  • CAD integrations (NX, CATIA, SolidWorks, etc.)

  • ERP/MES integrations

  • Proficiency in Java, ITK, SOA, RAC, and TCL scripting.

  • Experience with Teamcenter deployment on cloud or hybrid environments is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of PLM concepts, product data management, and engineering change processes.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
