Production Incharge

Job Title: Production Incharge – MS Fabrication (Aluminium Formwork)

Department: Production / Fabrication

Reports to: Production Manager / Plant Head

Job Summary:

Responsible for overseeing the production and fabrication of Mild Steel components used in aluminium formwork systems, ensuring quality, timely delivery, and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Planning & Execution
• Plan daily and weekly production schedules for MS components.
• Allocate manpower and resources efficiently.
• Ensure production targets are achieved on time.
• Fabrication & Assembly Oversight
• Supervise cutting, welding, grinding, and finishing of MS components.
• Ensure dimensional accuracy and quality of fabricated parts.
• Coordinate with aluminium formwork assembly teams for integration.
• Quality Control
• Inspect raw materials and finished products for compliance with specifications.
• Implement quality checks at each production stage.
• Maintain records of inspections and corrective actions.
• Resource & Inventory Management
• Monitor usage of raw materials (plates, pipes, profiles, fasteners).
• Coordinate with the store department for timely material availability.
• Reduce wastage and improve material utilization.
• Team Management & Training
• Supervise welders, fitters, and helpers in the fabrication shop.
• Train workers on production techniques and safety protocols.
• Resolve shop floor issues promptly.
• Safety & Compliance
• Enforce adherence to safety guidelines during fabrication.
• Maintain a clean and hazard-free production area.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical / Production Engineering.
• 4–7 years of experience in MS fabrication for formwork or construction equipment.
• Strong knowledge of welding, cutting, and fabrication processes.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and fabrication blueprints.
• Leadership and problem-solving skills.

Work Environment:

• Factory / Workshop setting.
• Requires standing for long hours and supervising fabrication activities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10, ₹50,454.70 per month
