As a QA Automation Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products. Your main responsibilities will include: - Developing and maintaining automated test scripts using Robot Framework and Python. - Designing and implementing automated test suites to validate software functionality, performance, and scalability. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to define and establish automation strategies. - Identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects using bug tracking tools. - Conducting thorough regression testing and participating in code reviews to ensure testability and best practices. Your qualifications should include: - A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. - Proven experience in developing and executing automated tests using Robot Framework. - Strong proficiency in Python programming. - Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. - Experience with version control systems such as Git. - A solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies. - Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication and collaboration skills. Preferred qualifications for this position include: - Experience with other automation tools and frameworks. - Knowledge of BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) and TDD (Test-Driven Development). - Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - Understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. - Experience with performance testing and tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
