Overview
We are seeking an experienced professional with 5-7 years of post-qualification experience in valuation and investment banking to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical knowledge, strong team leading qualities, and excellent client management capabilities.
You will be a core member of our advisory team, contributing to high-impact valuation assignments, M&A transactions, strategic decision support, and financial due diligence for clients across diverse sectors.
Key Responsibilities Include:
o
Business & Intangible Asset Valuations:
Independently lead and support complex valuation engagements, including enterprise valuations, purchase price allocations, and impairment testing, using globally accepted approaches (Income, Market, Cost/Asset).
o
Financial Modelling & Analysis:
Build, review, and refine detailed financial models for business valuations, investment analysis, and transaction structuring. Apply sound judgment in interpreting financial results and projecting performance.
o
Research & Insight Generation:
Conduct deep-dive industry, company, and market research to support valuations and strategic recommendations. Translate data into actionable insights.
o
Report Writing & Client Deliverables:
Prepare clear, concise, and insightful valuation reports, and client proposal presentations.
o
Transaction Support:
Support buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions, including due diligence, target screening, deal structuring analysis, and input on key commercial drivers and risks.
o
Stakeholder Management:
Engage with clients, auditors, and internal teams. Confidently present findings and defend valuation assumptions as needed.
o
Team Development:
Mentor and guide junior analysts and associates. Promote knowledge sharing and uphold a high standard of analytical and professional excellence.
Key Competencies:
o Expertise in financial analysis and modelling in
Excel
, including discounted cash flow (DCF), precedent transactions, trading comps, and scenario analysis
o Strong understanding of valuation standards and accounting frameworks (e.g., IFRS, US GAAP)
o Proficient in preparing professional-grade reports, presentations, and financial schedules
o Familiar with key data platforms such as
Capital IQ,S&P Capitaline, Tracxn

o Strong communication skills with the ability to present and articulate insights clearly
o Commercial mindset and ability to identify key business drivers, risks, and opportunities

o Prior experience in a valuation advisory firm, boutique investment bank, or corporate development/ M&A role
o Exposure to domestic as well as foreign transactions in multiple sectors such as Technology, Healthcare, Financial Services, Industrials, Real Estate, or Consumer & Retail.
