Overview

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with 5–8 years of hands-on experience in building and managing data pipelines, data warehouses, and business intelligence solutions across cloud and on-premise environments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and improve data solutions across data warehouses, data lakes, and cloud platforms such as Snowflake, Azure, and Databricks.
  • Build end-to-end BI solutions including data extraction, ETL processes, data transformation, and dashboard enablement.
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries and create scripts using Python and Unix shell scripting.
  • Work with MongoDB and Prometheus NoSQL databases for data insertion, extraction, and management
    .
  • Convert business requirements into meaningful dashboards and visual reports using Power BI or Tableau.
  • Orchestrate data movement and transformations across Azure services (Databricks, Blob Storage, Data Lake) and Snowflake, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional development and operations teams.

Requirements

  • Full life-cycle experience in enterprise software development projects.
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases, data warehouses, data marts, and complex SQL programming.
  • Extensive experience with ETL processes, data modeling, data preparation, and scripting (Python, Shell).
  • Proficient in
    Unix/Linux
    systems and
    shell
    scripting.
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI or Tableau for BI reporting.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, take ownership, and drive data-driven decisions.
  • Good communication and presentation skills to deliver analytical insights and recommendations.
