Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CAD Designer with 35 years of experience and strong proficiency in Autodesk Inventor. This role involves designing mechanical parts and assemblies that are ready for manufacturing, creating accurate 3D models, and collaborating with production teams for feasibility and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create 3D models, assemblies, and 2D drawings in Autodesk Inventor.
  • Design parts and assemblies with DFM (Design for Manufacturability) principles.
  • Prepare BOMs and maintain engineering documentation.
  • Apply GD&T and tolerances in drawings for accuracy and manufacturability.
  • Work closely with production teams to resolve design or fitment issues.
  • Support design changes, iterations, and continuous improvement efforts.

Required Skills

  • Hands-on experience with Autodesk Inventor (Part & Assembly Modelling, Sheet Metal, Drawings).
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical design, materials, tolerances, GD&T.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes (machining, sheet metal, fabrication).
  • Problem-solving ability with attention to detail.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
