We are seeking an experienced and guest-focused Restaurant Captain to lead a team of Stewards and ensure smooth floor operations. The Captain will be responsible for delivering excellent guest service, supervising day-to-day activities, and assisting in restaurant closure at the end of operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and guide Stewards in daily operations, ensuring smooth floor management.
- Greet, interact, and attend to guests, maintaining high service standards.
- Ensure proper table setup, cleanliness, and readiness before service.
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams for timely order delivery.
- Handle guest complaints professionally, ensuring quick resolution.
- Train and motivate Stewards to follow service etiquette and SOPs.
- Monitor inventory of cutlery, crockery, and service equipment.
- Assist in billing, cash handling, and ensure accuracy during restaurant closing.
- Oversee restaurant closing duties including settlement, cleanliness, and shift handovers.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management or relevant hospitality background preferred.
- 2–4 years of F&B service experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and guest-handling abilities.
- Knowledge of restaurant service standards and closing procedures.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹15, ₹17,000.00 per month
