Senior Consultant EWM

Experience: 15 to 20 Years

Location: Anywhere in India 

Job Summary:

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Platinum Consultant specializing in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) with deep industry experience and proven leadership in delivering complex EWM solutions. The candidate will lead large-scale SAP EWM implementations, optimizations, and support engagements, driving warehouse process improvements through expert technical and functional knowledge. This role demands strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and hands-on expertise in both standard and customized SAP EWM functionalities.

Key Responsibilities:

•    Lead end-to-end SAP EWM implementations, upgrades, and rollouts across diverse industries.

•    Design and architect advanced warehouse management solutions aligned with business goals.

•    Analyze complex warehouse business processes and translate them into SAP EWM system design and configurations.

•    Provide hands-on expertise in SAP EWM core areas: inbound/outbound processes, storage control, resource management, slotting, and warehouse monitoring.

•    Oversee integration of SAP EWM with other SAP modules (MM, SD, WM, TM) and external systems (WMS, automation tools).

•    Develop and review technical specifications, oversee ABAP developments, and ensure adherence to SAP best practices.

•    Mentor and guide junior and mid-level consultants and developers.

•    Lead workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer activities for client teams.

•    Manage stakeholder expectations and provide strategic consulting on warehouse process improvements and SAP EWM roadmap.

•    Identify and mitigate risks related to project delivery and system performance.

•    Collaborate with SAP support and development teams for issue resolution and system enhancements.

•    Stay abreast of SAP EWM innovations including SAP S/4HANA EWM and emerging warehouse technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

•    Bachelor's or master's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Computer Science, or related fields.

•    15 to 20 years of experience in SAP Extended Warehouse Management with a strong focus on end-to-end solution delivery.

•    Expert knowledge of SAP EWM functionalities including warehouse structure, process-oriented storage control, labor management, and integration scenarios.

•    Hands-on experience with SAP EWM implementation tools like SAP Solution Manager.

•    Strong understanding of SAP ECC and S/4HANA logistics processes.

•    Proficiency in SAP WM and integration knowledge with TM, MM, SD, and other SAP modules.

•    Experience with warehouse automation, RF technologies, and system interfacing (IDOCs, EDI, APIs).

•    Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

•    Proven leadership experience managing large teams and complex projects.

•    Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and translate technical concepts into business value.

•    SAP EWM certification is highly desirable.

•    Experience in Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
