Introduction:
Synechron is seeking a skilled Java Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic technology team. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of scalable web applications and systems. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of Java and related technologies, demonstrating a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions that meet business needs. As a Java Full Stack Developer at Synechron, your primary responsibility will be to develop and enhance Java-based applications, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and aligned with business objectives. You will work across teams to create new functionalities and optimize existing features, playing a vital role in delivering solutions that support our clients' digital transformation initiatives. Your contributions will directly influence the effectiveness and efficiency of our enterprise systems.

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Java (Java SE and Java EE platforms) with a focus on writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code
• Experience with web development frameworks such as Spring (Boot, MVC), Hibernate, and JavaServer Faces (JSF)
• Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with relational database management systems (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL)
• Experience with version control systems, specifically Git
• Understanding of RESTful web services (development and consumption)
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and popular frameworks like Angular or React
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

• Develop, test, and maintain Java-based enterprise applications to ensure performance, scalability, and security
• Write high-quality, clean, and maintainable code adhering to industry standards and best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including front-end developers, UI/UX designers, business analysts, and QA—to deliver feature enhancements and resolve technical issues
• Participate actively in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to team members
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical problems efficiently
• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and incorporate relevant innovations into project work
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and documentation

Programming Languages:

• Essential: Java (Java SE, Java EE)
• Preferred: JavaScript, TypeScript

Databases & Data Management:

• Essential: SQL, relational databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL)
• Preferred: NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB)

Frameworks & Libraries:

• Essential: Spring (Boot, MVC), Hibernate, JSF
• Preferred: Front-end frameworks such as Angular, React

Development Tools & Methodologies:

• Version Control: Git (branching, merging, pull requests)
• Development Lifecycle: Agile, Scrum
• Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI

Security & Compliance:

• Implement best practices for secure coding
• Familiarity with authentication and authorization protocols (e.g., OAuth, SAML)

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Java software development
• Proven experience with Java web development frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, JSF)
• Demonstrated experience designing and consuming RESTful web services
• Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL query optimization
• Experience working within Agile teams and methodologies
• Additional experience with front-end development or cloud platforms is advantageous

• Develop and enhance Java-based applications in line with project specifications
• Collaborate regularly with cross-disciplinary teams to plan, develop, and review features
• Write and review code to ensure adherence to quality standards
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings
• Address technical issues through debugging, troubleshooting, and proactive problem-solving
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for code and system design
• Stay engaged with evolving technologies and incorporate best practices into work processes

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent field
• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in Java development

Certifications (preferred):

• Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) Java SE
• Certified Scrum Developer (CSD) or equivalents

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to troubleshoot complex issues
• Effective communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to collaborate effectively and work in multidisciplinary teams
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work under pressure
