Desktop & End-User Support:

  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and peripherals (printers, scanners, etc.)
  • Troubleshoot hardware, OS (Windows/Mac), and software issues
  • Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support to internal users onsite and remotely
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and profiles (Active Directory, O365)

Network Support:

  • Monitor and maintain local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and internet connections
  • Install, configure, and manage network switches, routers, firewalls
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues (wired/wireless)
  • Work with ISPs and vendors to resolve outages and latency issues

Switches & Network Devices:

  • Configure and manage managed/unmanaged switches (VLANs, port security, etc.)
  • Basic knowledge of routing protocols and IP addressing
  • Ensure proper cabling and patch panel management

Protocols & Infrastructure:

  • Basic understanding of common networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, FTP, SSH, SNMP)
  • Monitor network performance and usage patterns
  • Maintain and update network documentation and diagrams

Security & Compliance:

  • Implement basic security best practices (patch management, antivirus, firewall settings)
  • Assist with audits, backups, and disaster recovery planning
  • Enforce IT policies and procedures across systems

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Min 4 years of relevant IT support experience
  • Hands-on experience with Windows OS, networking devices, and IT tools
  • Good understanding of IP addressing, subnetting, and network troubleshooting
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to prioritize and work independently under pressure
