We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer experienced in API Automation testing for applications with a .NET backend and Angular frontend. The role involves designing and executing automation frameworks to ensure quality, reliability, and scalability of web-based systems.Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and execute API automation test scripts for backend services built on .NET.
  • Validate API endpoints, data flows, and integrations between backend (.NET) and frontend (Angular) layers.
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand technical specifications and business logic.
  • Integrate API automation suites into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing.
  • Analyze failures, perform root-cause analysis, and document issues in tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
  • Ensure comprehensive test coverage for backend and integration workflows.
  • Support manual verification as needed during development or release cycles.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 6 years of experience in Quality Assurance, focusing on API automation testing.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and HTTP methods.
  • Proficiency in Postman, Rest Assured, or equivalent API testing tools.
  • Solid hands-on experience with Python, C#, or Java for automation scripting.
  • Working knowledge of .NET frameworks and Angular applications.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile methodology.

Good to Have:

  • SQL knowledge for backend validation.
  • Experience testing microservices or cloud-based APIs (Azure / AWS).
  • Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
