We are looking for a motivated and hardworking Mechanical Trainee to support plant maintenance activities and gain hands-on experience in mechanical systems and equipment. The trainee will work under the supervision of senior maintenance personnel and learn day-to-day plant operations and preventive maintenance procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preventive and breakdown maintenance of mechanical equipment

  • Support in the repair and installation of machines such as gearboxes, pumps, blowers, conveyors, fans, and valves

  • Learn to use mechanical tools and basic instruments (e.g., vernier, dial gauge, torque wrench)

  • Perform routine lubrication and cleaning of moving parts

  • Assist in shaft alignment, bearing replacement, and welding/fabrication work

  • Follow safety procedures and wear proper PPE while working in plant areas

  • Maintain shift logbooks and assist in basic reporting

  • Work in rotational shifts and coordinate with operation and maintenance teams

Qualification:

  • ITI (Fitter) / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

  • Freshers or candidates with 0–1 year experience in mechanical maintenance

Skills Required:

  • Basic understanding of mechanical systems and plant equipment

  • Willingness to learn through hands-on work

  • Good physical fitness and safety awareness

  • Teamwork and discipline in industrial environment

  • Ability to read basic mechanical drawings (preferred)
