Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an EMIR Engineer at our Bengaluru location. The EMIR Engineer will focus on rail analysis, electrical rule checking, power delivery system optimization, and debugging related issues during the physical design stage. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability and efficiency of IC designs, employing electro-migration (EM) and IR-drop (IR) analysis tools and methodologies.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Electromigration (EM) analysis and IR drop analysis
  • Proficiency in Power Delivery Network (PDN) optimization and electrical rule checking
  • Strong understanding of Physical Design concepts .
  • Understanding of chip reliability metrics and industry-leading EDA tools such as ANSYS RedHawk-SC and Cadence Voltus
  • Knowledge of VLSI, semiconductor design processes, and advanced technologies like AI/ML or edge computing is a plus
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage technical issues effectively
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, Electronics & Communication, or a related field
  • 5 -7 years of relevant experience in EMIR domain.
