This Cyber Defense Trainee role to do 6 Project practical, hands-on experience in a simulated Lab for SOC Operation As a trainee, you will build expertise in SIEM, EDR, XDR, and NDR platforms, learning how to set up, tune, troubleshoot, and optimize these tools.

  • You'll gain exposure to both defensive and offensive security practices, developing the skills needed to effectively identify, investigate, and respond to threats using widely recognized commercial security platforms.
  • Work in simulated enterprise networks to detect, analyze, and respond to real-time threats.
  • Use both attack tools and defense platforms to understand adversarial tactics and SOC response strategies.

Exposure to Leading Security Tools

SIEM / NG-SIEM: IBM X-Force Threat Intelligence, Sumo Logic, Rapid7, ArcSight

  • EDR / XDR: Sophos, Cybereason, Trend Micro, Windows Defender
  • NDR: Fortinet, ExtraHop
  • Cloud & IAM: Palo Alto Prisma Cloud, Okta IAM
  • AppSec & Web Security: Rapid7 AppSec, Intruder
