Role Description

This full-time on-site role, located in Visakhapatnam, is for an Assistant Professor of Statistics. The Assistant Professor will be responsible for developing and delivering course material, conducting original research, participating in departmental meetings, and advising students. The role also involves grading assignments, publishing in academic journals, and contributing to curriculum development to ensure alignment with industry standards.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Statistics, Probability Theory, and Statistical Methods
  • Experience with Data Analysis, Data Modeling, and Applied Statistics
  • Proficiency in Statistical Software such as R, SAS, SPSS, and Python
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to conduct original research and publish in academic journals
  • Strong teaching and mentoring skills
  • PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
  • Experience in the education sector or with curriculum development is a plus
