Job Description:

  • To ensure that all the raw materials at Receiving, in process and final stage are inspected,tested and/or verified for conformity to the laid down specification as per Food Safety plan and material specifications.
  • To ensure that all the inspection, measuring and test equipment used in factory are calibrated before validity for the same is expired.
  • To ensure the sample testing, PM testing, FG testing as per the FSSAI, ISO & BRC regulations.
  • To keep track for renewal of certifications, calibrations, etc.
  • Verification of Labels and specifications as per the importing country regulations.
  • To keep Control (Retention) sample for every batch & store it with proper identification.
  • Conduct the testing of control samples & verify it & maintain the record of the same.
  • To take necessary actions and reporting any non-conforming products or processes at various stages to the reporting manager.
  • Maintaining GMP and GHP throughout factory and factory workers.
  • To make necessary arrangement for customer/third party inspection, if any.
  • Monitoring and implementation of ISO 22000:2018 & BRC Food Safety Management System activities in the quality assurance department.
  • Reviewing & verifying HACCP at process line.
  • Preparing & implementing CAPA for the NC's raised
  • To ensure that all the Processes and Food Safety Systems are as per plan.
  • To participate and maintain records for New Product development.
  • To assist FSTL to design, maintain and review FSMS documents.
  • Coordinating with other team members for new developments, improvements & projects.

Job Requirement:

  • Strong knowledge of food safety and quality control standards.
  • Ability to work independently & take decisions and work as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of food processing and packaging company standards and compliances.
  • Knowledge of FSSAI, BRC, FSSC-22000 regulations and standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Food Science and nutrition, Food Technology, Chemistry or any relevant stream.

Proven experience in QC department.

2-3 years of experience in food technology.
