About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Data Scientist with strong machine learning expertise and hands-on experience in data visualization using Apache Superset. You will work on building predictive models, analyzing complex datasets, and creating actionable insights through compelling visualizations.

Key Responsibilities

Machine Learning & Analytics

  • Develop and optimize machine learning models for business problems:
  • Build and tune regression models for continuous predictions
  • Implement classification algorithms for categorical outcomes
  • Create time-series forecasting models for trend analysis and planning
  • Perform rigorous model evaluation, validation, and A/B testing
  • Conduct feature engineering and selection to improve model performance
  • Apply appropriate ML metrics and statistical tests to validate results

Data Visualization & Reporting

  • Design and maintain interactive dashboards in
    Apache Superset
  • Create compelling data stories that translate complex analyses into business insights
  • Build automated reporting pipelines connected to ML model outputs
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs and visualization requirements

Required Skills

Must-Have Technical Skills

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience
    in data science and machine learning
  • Strong Python proficiency
    with NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn
  • Proven experience
    building and deploying:
  • Regression models (Linear, Polynomial, Ridge, Lasso)
  • Classification models (Logistic Regression, Random Forest, XGBoost)
  • Time-series models (ARIMA, seasonal decomposition, or Prophet)
  • Hands-on experience with Apache Superset
    for dashboard creation
  • Solid understanding of statistics and ML evaluation metrics
  • Experience with SQL for data extraction and manipulation

Must-Have Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to explain complex models to non-technical stakeholders
  • Self-driven with the ability to manage multiple projects

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
  • Exposure to deep learning or advanced NLP
  • Knowledge of Docker or model deployment tools
  • Experience with A/B testing frameworks
