Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Test Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in both manual testing and test automation. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing requirements, preparing test cases, executing test scripts, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand business requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to create detailed test plans and test cases.
  • Perform manual functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute automation test scripts using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar.
  • Participate in API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar frameworks.
  • Execute cross-browser and cross-platform testing.
  • Log, track, and verify software defects in tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to resolve issues and improve product quality.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in QA processes and test automation coverage.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in manual and automation testing.
  • Hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver (Java/Python preferred).
  • Knowledge of test frameworks (TestNG, JUnit, or equivalent).
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.
  • Good knowledge of API testing (Postman/RestAssured).
  • Basic understanding of SQL queries for database validation.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, GitHub, GitLab).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Good to Have (Optional):

  • Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
  • Experience in mobile app testing (Appium, Espresso).
  • Exposure to cloud-based test environments (AWS, Azure, BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
