Role And Responsibilities

• Own customer engagements end-to-end: understand requirements, implementing solutions, and collaborating with customer ML engineering teams to support successful delivery.
• Collaborate with development teams and solution architects to build Generative AI applications for production leveraging LLM, RAG and AI Agents with robust data pipelines, evaluation, observability, and reliability.
• Scale and optimise models: Analyse model architecture and inference/training stacks to improve latency, throughput, and cost efficiency.
• Operate vector search & ingestion: configure and manage large-scale OpenSearch clusters; build and tune ingestion pipelines for high-quality indexing and retrieval.
• Develop reusable components: Contribute to solution patterns, reference implementations, and reusable assets across projects.
• Support the ML lifecycle: Help diagnose and resolve issues across data preparation, training, fine-tuning, evaluation, and deployment.
• Collaborate & learn: Work closely with PMs, researchers, and engineers, and actively participate in knowledge sharing and team growth.

Basic Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field with 3+ years of experience in building distributed/cloud native applications leveraging Generative AI
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including documentation and technical presentations.
• Hands-on experience with LLM and GenAI techniques, such as LoRA/QLoRA, instruction tuning, and prompt engineering strategies (e.g., Chain/Tree-of-Thought).
• Practical knowledge of RAG architecture and vector search. Experience in working with vector databases such as Amazon OpenSearch, PostgreSQL(pgvector), etc. and Kakfa for vector database real-time data ingestion pipeline
• Proficiency in Python and shell scripting.
• Familiarity with LLM frameworks and MLOps tools: LangChain, LlamaIndex, MLflow, KServe, Kubeflow, Triton, etc.
• Experience designing or contributing to data collection and evaluation workflows for production-grade AI systems.
• A passion for learning and mentoring, with a collaborative mindset and eagerness to grow in the GenAI space.
