  • Identify the appropriate supplier as per requirement sheet, specification & drawings etc.
  • Ability to provide BOM cost and approval before quotation submission to customer.
  • Ability to develop proto samples as per timeline.
  • Ability to Launch the RFQ, get the quotation & initial negotiation
  • Understand & manage the inflation/ deflation of raw material & mitigate the cost impact on part
  • Ability to Maintained the supplier relationship & resolve the supplier concern.
  • Optimize product costs during the development phase along with R&D team.
  • Manage portfolio of vendors based on price, quality, support, capacity and reliability.
  • Identify the cost competitive opportunity by alternate sourcing, VA/VE & volume leverage
  • Resolve escalated issue by internal stakeholder related to vendor in respective commodity
  • Recommend changes to improve purchasing system for vendor relationships and cost reduction.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholder for ITR improvement.
  • Experience to deal with overseas vendor like China, south Korea etc.
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers and vendors
  • Experience to deal in commodity like sheet metal, Molded Parts Wire Harness, Connector, chemical etc.
  • Preference for experience in Lithium -Ion Battery
  • Work experience in SAP MM module
