We are seeking an experienced Senior Test Engineer to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in manual and automated testing, API validation, performance testing, and collaboration within CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, document, and execute comprehensive manual test plans to validate product functionality and quality.
  • Design and perform API testing using tools such as Postman or Bruno to verify the integrity of application endpoints.
  • Build and maintain automated end-to-end test cases using Cypress or Playwright to validate system workflows.
  • Conduct performance testing with Gatling to assess application behavior under various loads and identify performance bottlenecks.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate testing processes seamlessly into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Leverage knowledge of manufacturing industry processes to design relevant and effective test scenarios (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Document defects accurately and work closely with development teams to drive timely resolution.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure overall product quality, process improvements, and delivery excellence.

Requirements:

  • 6–10 years of proven experience in software testing, including manual and automated testing methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of API testing with Postman/Bruno, E2E testing with Cypress/Playwright, and performance testing with Gatling.
  • Hands-on experience integrating testing into CI/CD environments.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Positive, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement.
  • Experience or knowledge of manufacturing domain processes is an added advantage.
