Role & responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging English lessons as per the CBSE syllabus for middle and secondary school students.
  • Develop students reading, writing, grammar, and communication skills through innovative teaching methods.
  • Integrate technology, literature, and interactive activities to make learning dynamic and meaningful.
  • Evaluate and monitor students academic performance through class tests, projects, and examinations.
  • Prepare lesson plans, question papers, and assessment tools following CBSE guidelines.
  • Encourage students to participate in literary clubs, debates, elocution, and other co-curricular English activities.
  • Maintain a positive classroom environment conducive to holistic learning and discipline.
  • Collaborate with other faculty members to plan interdisciplinary projects and events.
  • Communicate regularly with parents to discuss student progress and development.
  • Excellent command over written and spoken English.
  • Strong understanding of CBSE curriculum and assessment system.
  • Effective communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in digital teaching tools and smart classroom technology.

Educational/ Experience

Bachelors Degree in English with B.Ed. (mandatory)and Masters Degree in English.

Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in a reputed CBSE school.
