Key Responsibilities

Branch Service Team Support

  • Support the branch service by providing data on different activities required
  • Act as a link between Branch & Back-end teams on different matters
  • Drive the Branches team to ensure zero pendency on various branch actionable – Archival, Open SR's , Audit revert etc.
  • Monthly Cash position MI i.e., limits, breaches, new limits to be set up and overall cash position management
  • Coordinating with branches to get different information as required at CO from time to time
  • Support the branches by providing information as and when required
  • Organise training session for new processes and refresher training session for any gaps identified in existing processes.

Driving different Projects

  • Branch Cash Reconciliation project
  • Migration projects
  • Driving the teams for more usage of LINQ
  • Driving the teams for clearing E-learnings & CDD mandatory trainings
  • Proactively remind & follow up with branch teams on upcoming deadlines ensure zero pendency from branches
  • Prepare regular reports & MIS for presentation in different forums
  • Keep a track of all the deadlines for the items of Branch Governance Team
  • Keeping overall track of all the regulatory reporting and ensuring the same is completed within the given timelines
  • Supporting the Head Branch Services on different activities

Reporting:

  • Branch service committee meeting Minutes of meeting
  • Branch Manual GST reconciliation and reporting
  • Branch Productivity matrix for Transaction and Service request
  • NRO / NRE transaction reporting on or before 4th of every month for previous month.
  • RM Certification report for scorecard
  • Review of branch recharge volume
  • Monthly reporting of Open Items to Group Governance team
  • Various Branch Ops related submission for Risk Forum

Reconciliation:

  • Managing/ tracking responses for un-mapped combinations received from Confirmations, IN for CPBB.
  • Managing / tracking responses for pending Balance substantiation / confirmations for CPBB.
  • FCS related queries pertinent to CPBB patch.
  • Preparing, tracking responses for FORTAM / RC-BORF – CORC & other allied finance forums.
  • Regular review of open items and escalation to stakeholders for resolution
  • Long-aged entries responses to GRU team
  • Suspense Account Reconciliation.
  • Nostro reconciliation responses.

Any other work that may be allotted as per the requirement of the organization

Strategy

Drive Continuous improvements of the operation efficiency and effectiveness of process to increase the consistency of system and processes. Ensure implementation of all the regulatory guidelines pertaining branches.

  • Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values. Work in collaboration with business, risk and control partners.

Risk Management

  • Provide business input and oversight of the development of end-to-end scalable infrastructure and processes to execute business processes. This includes establishing and maintaining training, advice and support, to assure the processes, policies and standards are effectively implemented in the business.
  • Reinforce an effective and exemplary risk and control culture and further strengthen the control environment.
  • Act to minimize operational loss and audit failures and take proactive measures to respond to matters arising and identify and manage forward looking risks.

Governance

  • Design and enhance an integrated governance structure for the robust and efficient governance processes in the business.
  • Reinforce an effective and exemplary risk and control culture and further strengthen the control environment.
  • Responsible to ensure that key stakeholders and governance forums are kept up to date on key issues and resolution plans and overall progress on initiatives.

Regulatory and Business Conduct

  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group's Values and Code of Conduct.
  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
