Billing Engineer

• A Billing Engineer manages the financial documentation for construction projects, preparing estimates, generating client invoices, tracking expenses, and ensuring compliance with contractual terms and budget. Key responsibilities include preparing measurement books, verifying work done by contractors, and coordinating with project managers and clients to resolve billing discrepancies. • Key Responsibilities

Estimation & Costing: Prepare detailed cost estimates and monitor project expenses to keep them within budget.

• Invoicing: Generate and submit accurate invoices to clients for project milestones and deliverables.

• Documentation: Maintain meticulous records of all billing-related activities, including measurement books and invoices.

• Verification: Review and verify invoices from contractors and ensure payments align with contractual terms.

• Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to gather necessary information and resolve billing issues.

• Compliance: Ensure all billing practices adhere to company policies and industry regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: A bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is typically required.

• Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial tracking and analysis.

• Knowledge of AutoCAD for measurements and drawings.

Familiarity with ERP software and other billing platforms.
