Job Description:

Overall Purpose: Design, develop/code, test, deploy, and maintain high-quality software solutions, ensuring efficient delivery processes and production support with a focus on automation and industry best practices.

Key Roles and Responsibilities: Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Design, Development and Coding: Design and code software applications by applying various programming languages to execute development methodologies. (Software Engineers MUST design AND code applications at a minimum.)
  • Collaboration and Communication: Gather and review software requirements, provide estimates, create design specifications, and work with engineers/architects to assess and test hardware and software interactions.
  • Testing and Debugging: Develop and implement automated test plans, validate test environments, data, and results, design and implement code fixes, and produce reporting.
  • Maintenance and Support: Troubleshoot and resolve application configuration and environment issues.
  • Deployment: Facilitate and support the software deployment process.

Job Contribution: An entry-level professional with foundational knowledge, applying company policies to routine issues. Follows standard procedures to analyze data and perform transactional work. Contributes to project fulfillment and organizational objectives, influencing productivity and expenditures. Works under regular supervision with visibility primarily within the department or region. Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) desired in Computer Science. 0-3 years of related experience.
