Senior Software Engineer

Job Description SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and experienced SAP Commerce Cloud ( formerly Hybris) Lead to join our dynamic e-commerce development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and high-performance solutions using the SAP Commerce Cloud . You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust e-commerce applications that meet business requirements and enhance customer experience. Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for SAP Commerce, advising internal teams and stakeholders on platform capabilities and strategic enhancements.
  • Oversee customization and extension of core Hybris modules (Catalog, Order Management, Customer, Checkout) with robust, reusable components.
  • Design, develop, document and implement SAP Hybris solutions for B2B e-commerce platforms.
  • Integrate Hybris with third-party systems such as payment gateways, ERP, CRM, and analytics tools.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality software.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Hybris applications.
  • Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and other Agile development processes.
  • Stay updated with the latest Hybris features, tools, and industry trends.

Education Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with basic experience.

Technical Expertise:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 6-8 years of hands-on experience with SAP Commerce Cloud (preferably version 2211 or higher).
  • Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, and RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with Hybris Data Modeling, ImpEx, FlexibleSearch, WCMS and Backoffice customization.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
