QA Lead- Remote India

Job DescriptionThis is a remote position.The QA Lead would lead all quality assurance efforts in delivering AI-driven solutions. QA Lead is also responsible in ensuring quality of AI products and services by overseeing the testing process, define testing strategies and guiding the team of QA engineers with appropriate tools for effective testing.ResponsibilitiesUnderstand the values and vision of the organizationProtect the Intellectual PropertyAdhere to all the policies and proceduresLead and manage the QA team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality AI products through comprehensive manual testing.Develop and implement test strategies, plans, and processes for AI applications.Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define testing objectives.Perform end-to-end manual testing for AI models, APIs, and user interfaces.Create and execute detailed test cases, test plans, and test scripts.Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring proper resolution and retesting.Ensure thorough regression, functional, integration, and system testing is performed.Provide mentorship and guidance to junior QA engineers.Analyze test results and prepare detailed reports on software quality.Continuously work to improve the QA process and ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices.Stay updated on the latest trends and tools in QA and AI technologies.RequirementsEssential SkillsJobExpertise in designing complex, data-rich applications or AI-powered products.Experience in testing complex, data-driven systems, and AI algorithms.Hands-on experience with testing APIs, databases, and front-end/back-end systems.Excellent knowledge of software testing methodologies, processes, and tools.Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA or similar platforms.Strong understanding of AI/ML products and the specific challenges of testing AI applications.PersonalExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with all levels of employees and management.Collaborative approach to effectively present and advocate for quick design solutions.Demonstrate excellent Leadership abilities in managing, mentoring and guiding team.Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on design execution in a fast-paced environment.Stay updated on the latest design trends, tools, and technologies, bringing innovative ideas to enhance the product experience.Preferred SkillsJobTesting tools for API, database, Front/back-end systems and AI Algorithms.PersonalDemonstrate proactive thinkingShould have strong interpersonal relations, expert business acumen and mentoring skillsStrong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Have the ability to work under stringent deadlines and demanding client conditions.Other Relevant InformationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Over 8 years of experience in manual testing, with 2+ years in automation testing, including experience in leading QA teams.This role offers the flexibility of working remotely in India.BenefitsLeewayHertz is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, age, disability, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other protected status.
