Role Overview

The Tax Intern will support the Finance & Taxation team in corporate tax compliance, return filing, and assessment-related activities. This role offers hands-on exposure to end-to-end direct tax processes, including TDS compliance, corporate income tax returns, and participation in assessment and appeal proceedings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparation and filing of corporate income tax returns and TDS returns.
  • Support in income tax assessment proceedings and preparation of submissions to tax authorities.
  • Assist in drafting and compiling documents for Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals) proceedings.
  • Maintain and organize tax-related records, working papers, and supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for collection and verification of financial data for tax filings.
  • Stay updated with latest amendments in the Income Tax Act, rules, and notifications.
  • Provide analytical and administrative support to the Direct Tax team during audits and compliance reviews.

Educational Qualification

  • Pursuing or recently completed:

  • B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter / CMA Inter

  • Prior internship or academic exposure in direct taxation or audit will be an advantage.
