Role Description

  • As a Sr Technical Manager, you will work as part of a team responsible for delivering high quality software products, collaborate with partners, stakeholders and customers to define roadmaps
  • Through the application of systematic tools and processes you will help deliver reliable, innovative cloud and SaaS products
  • This position requires an individual who is creative, team-oriented, a quick learner and driven to produce results
  • Roles & Responsibilities: Managing team of Developers/Designers/Testers
  • Leading and driving the team for better performance, performing Resource Planning & utilization (allocation/release, ramp up/ramp down), Capacity Planning (effort management), Performance Management (review / Appraisals) and using management tools
  • Responsible for Project Planning, executing, controlling, closure of projects, creation of teams and cost effective project delivery
  • Managing projects in fast paced agile ecosystem and ensuring quality deliverables within stringent timelines Responsible for Risk Management, maintaining the Risk documentation and mitigations plan
  • Client management, Effective communication to identify customer needs and evaluate alternative business solution, managing day to day customer interaction (driving Projects status meetings with customer and multiple stakeholders of the projects), built a trust by delivering a quality product towards client needs and expectations in timely manner Collaboration Management across the department to broadening the skills and cross functional delivery management
  • Own and enforce high quality development practices and procedures, as well as maintaining secure coding standards, through the adoption of test-driven development (TDD), paired programming, peer code reviews, and software build automation
  • Provide oversight and guidance to team members during regular technical activities within an Agile environment: including (but not limited to) code reviews, estimating, technical solution design & architecture, testing
  • Drive continuous improvement in a Lean/Agile environment, implementing DevOps delivery approaches encompassing CI/CD, build automation and deployments

Technical Skills

  1. Proficiency in Java programming language.
  2. Experience with Spring Framework, Hibernate, and other Java-based frameworks.
  3. Expertise in relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
  4. Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
  5. Must have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  6. Must understand the company's long-term vision and align with it.
  7. Should be able to identify problems, generate effective solutions, and troubleshoot issues that may arise while working on complex projects.
  8. Must Display Adaptability to changing circumstances, new technology, and shifting priorities.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Significant experience in system design, development, and optimization. Prior experience in a principal or senior engineering role is desirable.
