Sales & Business Development Engineer

Company: Aura Heat Energy Location: Chennai (Travel Across India Required) Experience: Fresher to 3 Years Qualification: B.E / Diploma Mechanical / Electrical / EEE / ECE / Mechatronics / Industrial Engineering Industry: Infrared Heating Systems / Infrared Heaters Industrial Heating Solutions

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in industrial sectors across India
  • Conduct technical sales visits, customer meetings & product demonstrations
  • Understand customer applications and recommend suitable IR heating solutions
  • Generate and follow up on leads from IndiaMART, LinkedIn, field visits & exhibitions
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and sales presentations
  • Travel to factories & client sites across India for sales & application support
  • Build strong client relationships & ensure after-sales support
  • Conduct market research to identify new regions, industries & potential clients
  • Analyze market response and assist management in setting up new branch offices
  • Maintain sales reports & forecast orders
  • Work closely with technical and production team for project execution
  • Candidate must be willing to support packing, dispatch, and warehouse team when required, especially during urgent deliveries.

Skills Required

  • Strong communication & presentation skills
  • Interest in industrial sales, machinery, automation & heating solutions
  • Ability to understand technical concepts & industrial applications
  • Proactive, self-driven and ready to travel extensively
  • Knowledge of MS Office, Email, CRM tools
  • Problem-solving & negotiation skills

Mandatory Requirements

  • Willingness to travel across India for sales & marketing
  • Knowing Hindi is better
  • Must know driving & hold a valid Driving License
  • Smart attitude, professional behavior & growth mindset
  • Ability to work independently and take responsibility
