Chief Physiotherapist

Role & responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of physiotherapists and support staff.
• Develop, implement, and monitor physiotherapy treatment protocols and standards of care.
• Conduct patient assessments, plan rehabilitation programs, and ensure evidence-based clinical practices.
• Coordinate with doctors, surgeons, and other HODs to provide integrated patient care.
• Manage departmental operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow efficiency.
• Drive training, professional development, and performance evaluation of the physiotherapy team.
• Maintain accurate patient records, documentation, and compliance with medical and legal standards.
• Implement quality improvement initiatives within the physiotherapy department.
• Contribute to hospital/community health programs, wellness initiatives, and preventive care.
• Stay updated with advancements in physiotherapy and introduce innovative treatment methods.
