Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare wiring diagrams, electrical layouts, control panel drawings, and related documentation.
  • Support PLC programmers in logic improvements, updating ladder logic flow diagrams, and standardizing reusable program blocks.
  • Draft layouts for sensor/valve/pump/motor connections and support automation integration.
  • Maintain documentation for PLC/HMI programs, ensuring clarity and standardization.
  • Collaborate with testing & service teams to resolve wiring and program update issues.
  • Ensure electrical layouts meet BIS/CE/international compliance.

Required Skills

  • AutoCAD (wiring & electrical drafting).
  • Familiarity with PLC (Mitsubishi GX Works3, GX Developer) & HMI (GT Designer3).
  • Knowledge of sensors, valves, pumps, motors, and control circuits.
  • Ability to support troubleshooting of wiring and PLC logic.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma B.Tech in Electrical Electronics Instrumentation.
  • 2-4 years of experience in electrical drafting and PLC/HMI support.

KPIs

  • Accuracy of wiring and panel drawings.
  • Contribution to PLC program standardization and improvements.
  • Timely support to automation engineers.
  • Reduction of wiring/programming errors during assembly/testing.
