Job Title

Nurse Educator - Nursing

Reporting Manager

Nursing Superintendent Nursing

II. JOB PURPOSE

To lead and work within the practice nursing team, ensuring a high quality of nursing service, holistic patient care and deployment of appropriate staff nurse enabled by attendant as per patients requirement at home care set up.

III. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Core Responsibilities

  • To effectively interface with patients / attendants / physicians and other service users with high level of responsiveness.
  • To demonstrate knowledge & skills in patient assessment, documentation & equipment handling.
  • Correlating vision and mission of the organization.
  • Create dynamic education programs & staff training sessions & evaluate education program techniques and effectiveness.
  • Planning & Implementation of education & record keeping.
  • Strategies for dealing with the resistant learner.
  • Tips for planning orientation, in service & continuing education.
  • Quality improvement & evaluation of education effectiveness.
  • Overview of a staff development & ethical scenarios in staff development.
  • To orient and train nursing staff.
  • To be well groomed, punctual & adhere to company policies and practices.
  • To have complete orientation of Max Hospitals and different software, like DISHA, HIS, ERP.
  • To comply with the service quality process, environmental & occupational issues & policies.
  • To comply with patient safety policy.
  • To ensure safe utilization of equipment and proper waste disposal system.

V. JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Qualifications

  • B.sc / M.Sc. in Nursing.

Experience

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in Nurse educator role with clinical competence in advance nursing procedure.
  • Knowledge of CPR and Advanced Life Support.

Behavioural Skills

  • Strong Analytical skills
  • Excellent Coaching skills

Technical Skills

  • Sound Computer knowledge
  • Data Management and Excel preparation
  • Power Point Presentation

Language Skills

  • English
  • Hindi
