Role Description

Job Overview: We're on the lookout for a seasoned and results-oriented Program Manager to oversee and direct the Test and Repair operations for telecom hardware and software products. This position also involves the complete setup and enhancement of lab infrastructure to facilitate product testing, failure analysis, diagnostics, and repairs. The perfect candidate will possess a thorough knowledge of telecom systems, testing methods, lab environment configuration, and cross-departmental project management.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Management: Take charge of planning, executing, and delivering telecom test and repair programs.

Create comprehensive program plans that outline timelines, milestones, and how resources will be allocated.

Work with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality assurance, logistics, and vendors. Monitor and report on KPIs, timelines, and performance metrics to senior leadership.

Make sure everything complies with telecom industry standards and ESD/lab safety regulations.

Test & Repair Operations:

Supervise the testing and diagnostics of RF modules, basebands, PCBs, and telecom system components.

Set up standard operating procedures for fault isolation, root cause analysis, and component-level repairs.

Collaborate with R&D and manufacturing teams to enhance product reliability and ease of repair.

Keep track of the inventory for test equipment, spare parts, and tools needed for repairs.

Lab Setup & Management:

Lead the design, setup, and commissioning of telecom test labs and repair workstations.

Outline the infrastructure needs, including power, grounding, RF shielding, networking, and environmental controls. Acquire, install, and calibrate test equipment like signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and protocol testers.

Keep documentation updated for lab assets, configurations, calibration records, and access control.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Electronics Repair and Troubleshooting - specifically expertise in Telecom Repairs
  • Experience in Maintenance & Repair and Soldering
  • Certified IPC Specialist
  • Strong Communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow technical manuals
  • Ability to work remotely with a team and to work and train on-site in international sites
  • A degree or diploma in Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field is preferred
