We're Hiring: Design Engineer – Food Processing Equipment (Coimbatore)

V Square Engineering is looking for a talented and experienced Design Engineer to lead our machinery design team. If you've worked on food processing equipment, conveyors, or fabrication of SS equipment — this role is for you

Role: Design Engineer

Location: Coimbatore

Experience: 5+ years

Software: AutoCAD + SolidWorks (mandatory)

Industry: Food Processing Machinery - Design & Fabrication

What You'll Do

  • Lead the design team in developing innovative food processing machinery.
  • Design equipment such as conveyors, washers, dryers, blanchers, elevators, pulpers, etc.
  • Review & approve 3D models, 2D drawings, layouts, and BOMs.
  • Ensure all designs meet ISO/ASME standards and food-safety requirements.
  • Coordinate with production and purchase teams for manufacturability and cost optimization.
  • Conduct feasibility checks, stress/load analysis, and DFM reviews.
  • Drive R&D activities to introduce new products and design improvements.
  • Provide technical support during fabrication & assembly.

What We're Looking For

  • B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering
  • 5+ years experience in designing food processing or material handling machinery
  • Strong skills in AutoCAD & SolidWorks
  • Knowledge of DFM, tolerances, fabrication, sheet metal, and SS equipment
  • Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
