Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Technical Analyst to join our research team at Ventura Securities Ltd. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating high-quality trading calls across equity and equity derivatives, delivering educational webinars, and contributing insightful reports for our client communications.

This role demands a strong grasp of technical analysis principles, experience in derivatives trading strategies, and the ability to communicate market views effectively to a retail and HNI client base.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Trading Call Generation

  • Generate daily and positional equity stock recommendations based on technical analysis.

  • Formulate and publish equity derivative strategies (Options & Futures), including:

  • Directional trades

  • Hedging strategies
  • Spread strategies (e.g., Bull/Bear spreads, Ratio spreads)

  • Volatility-based strategies (e.g., Straddles, Strangles)

  • Ensure all recommendations are presented in the prescribed format and updated in a timely manner for the Ventura client network.

2. Client Communication & Education

  • Conduct regular webinars and training sessions for clients and internal teams on:

  • Technical analysis concepts

  • Chart patterns, indicators, and oscillators
  • Risk management techniques

  • Options trading strategies

  • Provide timely responses to client queries related to technical and derivative recommendations.

3. Report Writing & Market Commentary

  • Contribute to Venturas weekly/monthly newsletters with:

  • Market outlooks (Nifty, Bank Nifty, Sectoral indices)

  • Thematic reports based on technical trends

  • Educational pieces explaining technical tools or trading strategies

  • Create detailed pre-market and post-market reports summarizing key technical levels and trade ideas.

4. Media & Thought Leadership (Preferred)

  • Candidates with a strong social media or media presence, published articles, or previous experience appearing on business news platforms (ET Now, CNBC, etc.) will have an added advantage.
  • Ability to represent Ventura Securities as a thought leader in technical and derivative analysis.
