Application Engineering Manager

Introduction to Role:

As a Manager - Application Engineering, you will be responsible to support sales team for design, Select, arrive BOM and Costing of freon based refrigeration packages. You will play a pivotal role in driving innovation, ensuring technical excellence, and enhancing customer satisfaction while aligning with CCR's sustainability and growth objectives.

Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:

• Lead and mentor the application engineering team to achieve departmental goals.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Technical Excellence:

• Oversee the design, development, and customization of refrigeration solutions for commercial applications.
• Ensure solutions meet regulatory, safety, and environmental standards.
• Provide advanced technical support for complex customer requirements.

Customer Engagement:

• Collaborate with sales teams and customers to understand requirements and propose tailored solutions.
• Conduct presentations and technical training for customers and stakeholders.

Project Management:

• Manage multiple application engineering projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Monitor project progress and resolve technical challenges.

Innovation & Sustainability:

• Drive innovation in product applications and sustainable refrigeration technologies.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with the R&D, manufacturing, and product management teams to enhance product offerings.
• Support regional and global initiatives in line with CCR's strategic goals.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Refrigeration, or a related engineering field.
• Experience:
• 8+ years in application engineering or a similar role
• Proven track record in the commercial refrigeration industry is highly preferred.
• Technical Skills:
• Able to do heat loads in both manual / Software
• Able to Select and recommend suitable equipment according to segment/application
• Knowledge on Flow controls and Flow control selection
• Understanding the scope of insulation and select suitable insulation materials
• Knowledge on pressure drop and velocity drop calculations
• Able to do detail engineering in terms of piping, fittings, flow controls, insulation, electrical cabling, cable trays, clamping and support works.
• A Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, thermodynamics, and heat transfer.
• Familiarity with relevant design tools and software (e.g., CAD, simulation tools).
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
