As part of our expansion, we are seeking a Junior SEO Specialist to join our marketing team, strengthen our digital presence, and contribute to our Research & Development (R&D) initiatives in marketing and university insights.
Job Summary
As a Junior SEO Specialist, you will assist in executing SEO strategies to improve website rankings and drive organic traffic. Alongside core SEO responsibilities, you will actively support our R&D division by researching university information, analyzing marketing trends, and providing insights that enhance our overall student outreach and digital strategies. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both SEO and research-driven digital marketing while working with experienced professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Optimize website content, metadata, and internal linking for improved search engine visibility.
- Monitor website performance using SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush.
- Assist in developing content strategies based on keyword and market insights.
- Support on-page and off-page SEO efforts, including link-building initiatives.
- Prepare performance reports with data-driven insights.
- Stay updated with SEO trends, Google algorithm changes, and industry best practices.
- Contribute to R&D by:
- Researching universities, programs, and student-related data.
- Analyzing digital marketing trends and competitor strategies.
- Documenting findings to support innovation in SEO and marketing campaigns.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or certificate in a related field.
- Familiarity with search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
- Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Moz (preferred but not required).
- A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and grow in SEO and research-based marketing.
