Job Title: Senior SAP ABAP/Fiori Consultant - SAP Public Cloud Implementation

Job Description:

We are searching for a highly experienced Senior SAP ABAP/Fiori Consultant to join our SAP Public Cloud implementation project. The ideal candidate will excel in ABAP development and Fiori app customization, possessing deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA, SAP Public Cloud extensions, and modern UI/UX principles. This senior role involves both technical leadership and hands-on development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of custom ABAP applications and Fiori/UI5 apps within the SAP Public Cloud environment.
  • Gather business and technical requirements from stakeholders, translating them into robust, scalable cloud-ready solutions.
  • Develop and optimize ABAP code, including CDS Views, BAPIs, BADIs, OData services, and integration points with SAP S/4HANA and SAP Cloud Platform.
  • Design and build custom Fiori apps using SAPUI5, Fiori Elements, and SAP Business Application Studio, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
  • Advise on SAP Public Cloud extensibility options, including In-App and Side-by-Side extensions, guiding best-practice adoption.
  • Integrate Fiori applications with backend systems and enable seamless authentication/authorization mechanisms.
  • Conduct code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of ABAP and Fiori solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers and ensure all development aligns with SAP"s quality and security standards.
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects, BASIS, and Functional Consultants to deliver seamless application solutions.
  • Produce high-quality technical documentation, test cases, and support go-live activities.


Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor"s or master"s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in SAP ABAP programming and at least 3 years of Fiori app development.
  • Proven track record of SAP ABAP/Fiori developments in S/4HANA and SAP Public Cloud implementation projects.
  • Strong skills in ABAP, OData, CDS Views, AMDP, and SAP Gateway.
  • Expert in SAPUI5, Fiori Elements, SAP Business Application Studio, and UI theme designer.
  • Experience in cloud extension frameworks: In-App and Side-by-Side Extensibility.
  • Good understanding of SAP security, roles/authorizations, and integration with cloud applications.
  • Capable of leading small teams, managing project deliverables, and working in agile teams.
  • Excellent analytical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • SAP Certified Development Associate - ABAP with SAP NetWeaver and SAP Certified Fiori Application Developer are preferred.
