We're looking for a production assistant (PA) who takes pride in order, reliability, and the art of being ready. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on structure, has a sharp eye for detail, and understands that great work begins with flawless groundwork. Framed is a Kolkata-based photography and videography company founded in 2014. We create visually compelling stories across weddings, branded content, and personal portraits. Our work is driven by emotion, aesthetics, and precision- and we're building a team that shares that commitment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Equipment care & readiness: Ensure all cameras, lights, and accessories are cleaned, charged, and logged daily for shoot readiness.
  • Shoot preparation & packing: Accurately pack and cross-check all gear before every shoot, ensuring nothing is missed and everything is shoot-ready.
  • On-field shoot assistance: Assist photographers and cinematographers on all kinds of shoots- weddings, events, advertisements, or portraits- providing reliable on-ground support.
  • Post-shoot management: Tally, clean, and re-store equipment after every shoot with 100% accuracy against inventory logs.
  • Studio upkeep: Maintain a clean, organized, and labeled studio environment that's ready for daily use.
  • Coordination & logistics: Handle equipment pickups, drop-offs, and rental returns smoothly and punctually.
  • Reporting & communication: Flag any gear issues or damages within 6 hours to the equipment manager and keep clear daily logs.
  • Process & initiative: Suggest and help implement small workflow improvements to make studio operations more efficient.

Performance expectations- Your performance will be measured through clear key result areas (KRAs):

  • Weekly: Task execution & care- cleanliness, readiness, and timely reporting.
  • Monthly: Reliability & proactivity- punctual execution, initiative, and coordination.
  • Yearly: Growth & mastery- independence, technical knowledge, and leadership contribution.
