Overall Role :

Assist in performing a variety of technical and supportive tasks to make standard sterile supply available all the time.

Responsibilities and key tasks :

Maintain the cleanliness of the department.
Assist in managing and coordinating activities related to the receiving and distribution of surgical supply items.
Assist management in preparation of reports relating to product usage, instrument distribution, instrument loss and instrument replacement.
Maintenance and upkeep of all related equipment of the department.
To ensure that proper work flow, work patterns are followed.
Take active part in departmental quality initiatives.
To attend to emergencies during and after working hours.

Position : Qualification and other requirements:

Educational Qualifications/ Experience

Certificate Course in Sterilization Technician/Dip. In OT Technician/ 0-3 years of relevant experience.
