Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced
Azure Cloud Data Engineer
to join our team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in building and managing data solutions on the Azure cloud platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable data ingestion and enrichment pipelines on Azure.
  • Build and maintain models for data processing, monitoring, and alert generation.
  • Work with modern data tools and frameworks such as
    Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake, Databricks, Delta Lake, PySpark, SQL
    , Spark, and Python.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and deployment teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Troubleshoot issues and optimize performance across data pipelines and cloud services.
  • Support regulatory and business-driven initiatives through robust data engineering practices.

Required Skills:

  • Strong experience with Azure cloud services for data engineering.
  • Hands-on with
    Azure Synapse
    ,
    Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Delta Lake.
  • Proficiency in
    SQL
    , Python, Spark, and
    PySpark Azure Databricks
    .
  • Experience with Postgres and/or other relational databases.
  • Understanding of containerized deployments using Azure AKS (nice to have).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Good to Have:

  • Experience in the
    banking or financial services domain
    .
  • Knowledge of Scala or other data processing languages.
